Prunotto Mille Fiori (Thousand Flower) Honey (3.5 oz)
Honey is a sugar substance produced by bees as a consequence of the transformation of the flower’s nectar. The Prunotto beehives are placed in different areas depending on the bloom and type of honey that is desired.
The harvesting takes place on spontaneous blooms and far away from possible pollution sources. The honey is extracted by centrifugation and the next steps of settling and packaging take place without the use of heat treatment. These stages are essential in order to maintain the physical, chemical and organoleptical quality of the product (honey) and keep all its beneficial properties undamaged.
Recommended Use: This can be used as a finishing touch on bread,
sweetening teas, dry cheeses, blue cheeses, and a variety of receipts
that call for the combination of honey.
